Hey girls! Now if you have dry, chapped lips, you can totally understand how difficult and frustrating it is when choosing lipsticks. I have found quite a lot of amazing lipsticks suited for dry lips. I keep these. As for lipsticks which accentuate my chapped lips? I convert them into cream blushes.
Today's review is on Aritaum Water Sliding Tint. I have these in 6 gorgeous shades, and trust me, these lipsticks are definitely keepers!
Lets take a look...
Description
The Aritaum Water Sliding Tint is a non-sticky lip gloss / lipstick. The base formula contains high refractive oil and high pigment. It promises to deliver long-lasting moisture and vivid colors.
Ingredients
Argan oil, seed oil, peach oil, plum oil, apricot oil.
Price
I got these from Korea at 9,000 won each (which converts to RM 30.00 in Malaysia)
Packaging
Aritaum Water Sliding Tint comes in a tube with the usual plastic click-on cap. Each cap color represents a different shade. Love these type of lipstick tubes! the colored cap makes it easy to pick out the shade you want. The name of the shade is printed on the underside of each cap. They look so pretty!
Now the tube design is a little different than your standard lipstick tube. The base of a normal tube allows u to twist in both directions to dispense and retract your lippie. This base however, only allows you to twist in one direction, which means the lipstick is non-retractable. So you definitely need to be careful to not over twist!
You'll hear a "click" sound for each step you twist. Give it a full twist (about 4 clicks) to dispense 1mm of product. 1mm is enough for each application.
Review
Let's have a look at the Aritaum Water Sliding Tint swatches!
All the shades are gorgeous! I love every single one of these 6 shades I got.
Texture:
I was really surprised by the application. The lipstick glided on so smoothly! Although it looks like a regular lipstick, it feels so different. Lipsticks usually have a more solid and creamy texture. Aritaum Water Sliding Tint is just different. The best way to describe it would be a frozen tint/gloss which melts when applied onto your lips. It's amazing. Non-sticky and so moisturizing. It's perfect for dry chapped lips!
Scent:
Aritaum Water Sliding Tint smells so good, I almost want to eat it. It smells exactly like peaches and apricots! And now I have a craving for peach tea haha.
Color:
These lipsticks definitely have a glossy finish. There is nothing matte at all about these. The color payoff is really good. The colors are quite pigmented. Really gives a bright, cheerful and happy vibe when you apply these lippies. I only applied one layer for the swatches below. The formula is buildable, so you can of course apply more layers if you want a more obvious pop of color.
The shades I got are Pink Prism, Pinky Fruity, Fruit Punch, Sparkling Coral, Crazy Ruby and Cosmopolitan. Lip swatches below:
Pros:
- Moisturizing and non-sticky texture
- Does not accentuate dry lines on my lips
- Product does not set onto my chapped lips
- Gorgeous cheerful shades
- Affordable pricing
- Color applies evenly
Cons:
- Aritaum brand is not available in Malaysia
- Have to get the brand from online sellers
Final Verdict
Definitely get the Aritaum Water Sliding Tint if you are looking for a lipstick suited for dry lips. It has a glossy yet non-sticky finish which is great, you won't have problems with your hair sticking onto your lips. The formula is so moisturizing and each lipstick applies so smoothly. I can't stop raving about this product. All the 6 shades I have are so gorgeous and gives off this happy, cheerful vibe.
